Head to Tofu | Chopped Junior | Food Network

So your appetizers must include
vegetable fried rice, oven roasted tomatoes, firm tofu– Dude! Argh! And gingerbread cookie people. 30 minutes. Time starts now. Oh my god. Mom and I practiced for
everything, except tofu. Except tofu. I am at a loss for ideas. I just look at the ingredients,
and I think, stir fry. So I put it with the
roasted tomatoes and rice. I practiced sauces
and vinaigrettes. I learned how to make apricot
goat cheese breaded chicken, but I’m tasting my stir fry,
and I think this is still not great, because tofu’s weird. Ugh, gosh. I don’t even know
what I’m doing now. James is really stressing
out here at the beginning. This is a really
bad basket for me. Darn it! I taste the tofu stir fry. This would be a lot better
if it were meat, not tofu. And then I have an idea. I throw in bacon
for more flavor. I have trained really
hard, and I will be the Chopped Junior champion. I got this. ANNOUNCER: New season, Chopped
Junior, premieres Tuesday, April 26th, at 8:00.
